Tonight at church the subject was Jesus healing. That really hit home for me because God healed my son when he was a baby. God can do anything, you just have to believe. You must have no doubts. Have 100 percent faith. Trust in God and he will answer your prayers. Nothing is to big for God.

Each day we wake up is a blessing. As I sit here at 5 am getting my kids ready for school, I realize I’m blessed that God has given me another day. Tomorrow is not promised. Take advantage of today. Live today like it is your last. Spend time with your family, be happy, and give some of your time to God. Thank him for giving you this day. Make sure you are right with God for tomorrow isn’t promised. I’m going to enjoy this day even if things don’t go smoothly or as planned.

Today as me and my husband was leaving Walmart we was approached by a older man asking for a ride. I don’t like to give rides to strangers and we were going the opposite way anyway, so then he asked for a dollar. Well all I had was a twenty so my husband handed him that. The man was real excited. I’m pretty sure he was homeless. If not you could tell he didn’t have much money. My point is there is always people less fortunate than you are. God has given you the life he wants you to have. Be thankful. You may not have the things you want to have but think of it this way there are a lot of less fortunate people who would love to have the things you do have.

Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 22:6

It is sometimes hard as a parent to keep kids away from bad things. They learn things they shouldn’t at school from friends or say and do things they shouldn’t to try to fit in or be cool. The television and internet has evil right at their fingertips. We as parents has to teach them it’s wrong and to try to keep the bad things away. Use parental controls and pay attention to what their watching. Teach them right and wrong. Teach them the 10 commandments and to follow them. Teach them not to follow the crowd to follow God.

“You shall teach them to your sons, talking of them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road and when you lie down and when you rise up.

1. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

I remember this being said in church as a kid and it has stuck with all these years. I absolutely love this scripture. It really speaks to me. God is with you always. Through the good and the bad. He doesn’t want you to be afraid he is with you if you open your heart to him. Let him in. Let him comfort you. Trust in him. Through him all things are possible! If you follow him he will provide for you and protect you.

In the Bible God says children is a blessing! In Psalms 127:3-5 it’s says “Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate”. As a mom of 5 children I get a lot of stares when I go to town. It used to make me feel upset and uncomfortable. People would come up to me and make comments like you know what causes that right or you should put a t.v in your room. They try to shame you and you start feeling like an outcast in society. But that’s not what the Bible says it says in Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Don’t let people make you feel ashamed for having children. It is a blessing from God. Psalms 127:3 says Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.
